If you are not sure if you are a First Year Student, check your Letter of Admission for confirmation.
Before you start your next steps as a First-Year Student, be sure to become familiar with the information in the Steps for All Students section.
You need to create your network identification user name and password to access computing services at IU Southeast. To set up your account, please go to the Account Management System. You will need your University Identification Number listed on your Letter of Admission. Your network identification will enable you to access information from OneStart, which will help you manage your academic life including personal information, academic services, registration and financial aid. If you need help setting up your network identification user name, please call (812) 941-2447. PLEASE NOTE: If you set up an IU guest account to check your admission status, you must set up a new IU computer account in order to register for classes and manage your student record.
If you took dual credit courses in high school, be sure to get the credit you deserve by submitting official college transcripts to the IU Southeast Office of Admissions. Credits will not be added to your official IU Southeast record until official college transcripts are received from the credit-awarding institution (not your high school). If you are unable to submit your college (not high school) transcripts before registering at IU Southeast, please help us advise you by completing this chart and bringing the completed form to your advising appointment. Please note that these credits will not be added to your official IU Southeast record until we receive official transcripts from the credit-awarding institution
If you took dual-credit classes and earned credits from another college or university, you can see how your credits transferred to IU Southeast. You may view this report on OneStart after setting up your network ID and password. Log onto OneStart and follow this path: Self-Service (on the menu bar on the left) > Go to Student Center > My Academics and Grades > View Academic Credit Report. If you have questions about the transfer of credits, please call the Admissions Office at (812) 941-2212.
