PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS

The private music lessons offered below are taught using the traditional method of teaching. For lessons using the Suzuki method, please see our Suzuki page.

As an integral part of Indiana University Southeast, the Arts Institute provides a unique opportunity to study with some of the region’s foremost musicians. Children, adolescents, college students and other adults may pursue private study for non-credit in a university environment. Students select 30–minute, 45–minute or 60–minute weekly lessons, according to the instructor’s recommendation, and they register for 7 or 14 lessons during the regular semester (and 6 or 12 during the summer session). As each student progresses, performance opportunities are given.
