Princeton Review: Best 301 Business Schools: 2010 Edition![]() IU Southeast a Best Business School for 5 Straight YearsIndiana University Southeasts School of Business is an outstanding business school, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the school in the new 2010 edition of its book, "The Best 301 Business Schools". According to Robert Franek, Princeton Review Senior VP-Publishing, "We are pleased to recommend IU Southeast's School of Business to readers of our book and users of our site, www.PrincetonReview.com, as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA. We chose the 301 business schools in this book based on our opinion of their academic programs and offerings, as well as our review of institutional data we collect from the schools. We also strongly consider the candid opinions of students attending the schools who rate and report on their campus experiences at their schools on our survey for the book." Among the comments from IU Southeast students were that IU Southeast "offers the best combination of cost and quality of education while still being close to home" and that MBA students are most impressed with the "knowledgeable and caring" IU Southeast faculty, who contribute to IU Southeast's "quality reputation in the region with area professionals." The Princeton Review ranking is the latest accolades received by the IU Southeast School of Business. BusinessWeek magazine ranks the IU Southeast MBA program 9th in the nation and 3rd in the Midwest for part-time MBA programs. In addition, IU Southeast ranked 5th nationally in the area of Best Classroom Experience in the 2009 Princeton Review. Dr. Jay White, dean of the School of Business at Indiana University Southeast, said, "We have worked diligently to create a high-quality part-time program that meets the needs of our market. Our program was built from the ground up with working professionals in mind and offers the best combination of high academic standards and the flexibility needed to balance a degree program with a challenging career. Being included among the top business programs by The Princeton Review provides external endorsement of the quality of our students and faculty." This marks the fifth year in a row that the IU Southeast School of Business has been rated as a best school by the Princeton Review. The IU Southeast School of Business also offers a Masters of Science in Strategic Finance (MSSF). Like the nationally-ranked Part-Time MBA program, the MSSF was designed for working professionals, offers leading-edge, practical knowledge, and allows the flexibility to pursue a challenging degree while balancing work and personal goals. A dual MBA/MSSF option is also offered and courses are available both at the main campus in New Albany and the Graduate Center located just minutes from downtown Louisville. |
