Crystal Gunther has been a resident of the Southern Indiana Region since 1993 and currently resides in Sellersburg, Indiana with her husband, Chris, and two children, Ryley and Lillian. She began her college career at Indiana University’s Bloomington campus in 1996 and graduated from the Southeast campus in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Crystal spent over eleven years in the banking industry locally and is currently the Grant and Programs Officer for the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana. Her office is currently in New Albany.
In addition to serving as the chair on the Advisory Board, Crystal is chair of the Chancellors Medallion Dinner Committee and serves on the Chancellor’s Executive Committee.
She is an active volunteer for the Floyd County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program through St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities, and a 2009 Leadership Southern Indiana graduate actively involved with the organization currently serving on the LSI Board of Advisors.
Crystal is past President of the Homebuilders Association of the Southern Indiana Women’s Council which is a non-profit organization that collaborates to raise money each year in order to provide qualifying high school seniors with scholarships for continuing education. She is an active member and strong supporter of One Southern Indiana serving on numerous event planning committees, including the Youth Entrepreneur Success “YES” program and Annual Business Awards Luncheon.
Crystal is also actively involved with Junior Achievement programs at Silver Creek High School in Sellersburg, Indiana.
