Faculty Learning Community (FLC) Fall 2009

We are now accepting participants of our Diversity Faculty Learning Community. Please contact the ILTE (2506) if you are interested in participating. This FLC is open to all faculty who wish to diversify their curriculum as well as to those faculty who already use diversity-related course materials and have a general interest in diversity. Participants will receive copies of FLC readings as well as support from the ILTE in planning and designing course materials.

Diversity Ideas by Discipline

We have lots of great information on diversifying the curriculum, but we need your help. If you have an activity in your class that exposes students to the differences in the world today, please let us know so we can share with the community.

Check back next week for some diversity information listed by school.

Books and Resources

Diversity-Related Books

All of the ILTE books are catalogued in IUCAT and marked as being located in the ILTE. If you find a book you would like to borrow, call or email us and we’ll pull it from the shelf and have it waiting for you.

Our book database continually grows and this diversity-related book list gets updated twice a year.

For more information on diversity at IU Southeast, visit the Diversity Coalition website and read their current e-publication.
