As a service to our patrons, the Indiana University Southeast Library will borrow materials from other libraries. IUS students, staff, and faculty may order materials through interlibrary loan. Kentuckiana Metroversity students should order interlibrary loan materials from the school they are currently attending. If you are not a member of the IUS student, faculty, or staff , please contact your local Public Library for Interlibrary Loan Services.

You can request the following material

• Books and photocopied articles (from periodicals or newspapers) may be requested. Materials ordered on interlibrary loan through IUS should be for research or academic purposes. Recreational and/or leisure materials should be ordered through your local Public Library.
• Materials owned by the IU Libraries will not be ordered on interlibrary loan. Patrons may request materials held by IU Libraries directly from IUCAT. A hold or recall will be placed on items owned by IUS if it is checked out and not available from another IU library. An interlibrary loan request for these items will be considered only if the item is not returned.
• Most libraries will not loan videocassettes, sound recordings, reference books, an entire journal volume, or rare books.
