Over the past decade, the Chancellor's Medallion Dinner has evolved into one of Southern Indiana's premier civic events—and a major source of scholarship funding for outstanding Indiana University Southeast students. This year’s event will be held October 27, 2012 at Horseshoe Southern Indiana.

The Chancellor's Medallion Award

The Chancellor's Medallion is the highest honor presented by the Chancellor of IU Southeast. To date, 37 of these awards have been presented. Donald McMahel, longtime music educator, and Michael Naville, attorney and managing partner at Lorch & Naville, will be presented with the Chancellor’s Medallion at the 2012 event. Hundreds of Southern Indiana's and greater Louisville's top business, civic, and educational leaders are expected to attend this year's Medallion Dinner to honor these two distinguished community members.

The Chancellor's Medallion Leadership Scholarship

The Chancellor's Medallion Leadership Scholarship is awarded by the Chancellor and recognizes outstanding senior students for their academic achievement and leadership potential. This year’s recipients are Cory Dixon, Ana Vivanco-Sanchez, Benjamin Stillman, and Shelby Troutman. Congratulations to these four outstanding students.
