SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION

After you have submitted your Audition Application and/or Music Scholarship application, you can schedule your audition time using the form below. Please complete the form and provide three choices - in order of preference - for your audition time. We will do our best to accomodate your preference, but we cannot guarantee your requested time(s) will be available. You will receive a comfirmation by e-mail once we have scheduled your audition time.

In order to confirm your audition reservation, we must have received your application materials.

CONCENTRATION If you are auditioning for admission to the Music Department as a music major, please select the concentration(s) you intend to pursue. If you are not auditioning for admission to the Music Department but are auditioning only for a music scholarship, please indicate that below.

AUDITION DATE Please select the date you wish to audition. Audition and Scholarship applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to your desired audition date. We are currently accepting audition time requests for our November and Fabruary auditions only. We will begin accepting requests for March and May auditions around December 1.


AUDITION TIME Please select three audition times in order of preference. We will make every effort to accomodate your choice of time, but this is not always possible. We will attempt to schedule your time as close to your preferences as possible. You will receive a confirmation of your audition time by e-mail.

ACCOMPANIST You are strongly encouraged to provide your own accompanist if one is needed for your audition. However, the Music Department can usually provide an accompanist if you are unable to provide your own. Students requesting a Music Department accompanist will be required to pay a $10 fee, paid directly to the accompanist at the time of the audition. Depending on the accompanist's schedule, students may not have an opportunity to rehearse with the accompanist prior to the audition. Also, students requesting an accompanist must submit a copy of the music at least two weeks prior to the audition date.
I request an IU Southeast Music Department staff accompanist for my audition. I understand that I must pay a $10 fee directly to the accompanist at the time of my audition and that I must submit a copy of my music to the Music Department at least two weeks prior to my audition date.
