Evidence of completion of the baccalaureate of science in nursing is required before graduates may apply to take the National Council State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) NCLEX-RN examination.
Application to take the NCLEX can be completed before graduation, but the Authorization to Test (ATT) is not approved by the Board of Nursing (BoN) in the state where the examination will be taken until the BoN receives notification from the School of Nursing that degree requirements have been fulfilled.
When you have received the authorization to test (ATT), you may go to the PearsonVUE website and register to take the examination. Locations of testing sites are also found on PearsonVUE.
In 2010, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington, DC, 20036 (202) 887-6791 accredited the Indiana University Southeast Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Program for 10 years. The Indiana State Board of Nursing, 402 W. Washington St., Rm. W072, Indianapolis, IN, 46204, (317) 234-2043 also accredited the Indiana University Southeast Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Program.
