What is the UCard?
Your UCard is the official multipurpose campus card for all IU Southeast students, faculty & staff. The UCard is used for:
- Photo ID
- Meal-plan access
- Entrance into residence lodges (residents only)
- Library privileges
- Campus debit transactions (Bookstore, vending machines, coffee shops & dining services)
- Services off-campus, including restaurants, stores, and more!
learn moreHow to Get Your UCard
The UCard is a required ID issued to all new students, faculty and staff. Students and staff must bring a valid photo ID (i.e. driver's license) to Campus Card Services/Office of the Bursar in order to be issued an ID.

Most months we’ll post special promotions where UCard holders can get special deals at select vendors. It makes the UCard even more useful!

Manage: Your Account
Online Deposits
You can add funds to your account anytime in a variety of ways, but online deposits are most convenient! All that is needed is your IU Southeast e-mail address. Parents and family can easily make deposits to your UCard account.

View a record of your UCard balances and transactions by using our simple web interface. Login with your IU username and passphrase.learn moreLost or Stolen IDs
If you suspect your UCard to be lost or stolen, and to avoid fraudulent charges to your account, you should deactivate your card immediately. Contact Campus Card Services immediately at 812-941-2335 or email us at ucard@ius.edu during business hours.

On-Campus
It’s amazing just how many ways you can use your UCard on campus. Pay for coffee and meals or tickets to shows at the Ogle Center…you can even use the UCard to pay for childcare at the Children’s Center. In fact, there are very few things on campus you can’t pay for with the UCard!

You can purchase “dining points” that can be placed on your UCard and used in the University Grounds Coffee Shop, the Library Bistro, and the Food Court. Five different UCard meal plans are available. Save up to 15% on your campus food purchases. They also make great gifts!
learn moreNEW! Charge Books & Supplies
You can now use your UCard to charge the purchase of books and supplies from our university bookstore, Barnes and Noble During the time frame of April 30 to May 10, 2013 the bookstore can accept your UCard as a charge card with a $600.00 limit, just say “charge it.”
