Peter Galvin is an historical and human geographer with teaching and research experience in Africa and Latin America. His most recent research has focused on the spatial/cultural factors that impact the psychosocial functioning of former Liberian child soldiers. His past research has examined patterns of piracy in Latin America from a historical and geographic perspective.
