Lucinda Woodward is a professor of Psychology and International Studies at Indiana University Southeast. Her research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder among Liberian civil war survivors. She has worked extensively with trauma counseling of Liberians living in a refugee camp in Ghana, West Africa where she implemented a treatment and reintegration program for former Liberian child soldiers. Lucinda is director of international programs at IU Southeast; every other year she takes students to Ghana, West Africa where she conducts field research on PTSD.
